The Roxsolt Sydney Uni team was put together to race a selection of the summer criterium races held during the 2013/ 14 season. The team raced the NSW Cycling Grand Prix (televised live on Channel 9), the St Kilda Cycling Club LSLSuperCrit and the Bay Classic (highlights televised on SBS). The team included Commonwealth Games Bronze Medalist & Olympic representative Chloe Hosking, former Australian national criterium champion and World Championships representative Lauren Kitchen, 2014 Australian Criterium Champion & 2013 NSW Criterium Champion Sarah Roy, Olympic representative Lucy Martin, and three development riders; Brittany Lindores, Gina Ricardo and Marissa Madden. The team was provided by in kind support from Sydney Uni Velo Club, Nespresso, Freebird Velo and Rapha. Roxsolt provided funding, organisation and management, and logistics support for the team and riders during the season. The aim of the team was to have fun, provide a professional level experience and to provide mentoring to the development riders at the highest level of racing in Australia. The team delivered much more than that, winning the LSLSuperCrit and stage 2 of the Bay Classic. Sarah Roy went on to become the 2014 Australian National Criterium Champion and Lauren Kitchen went on to finish 2nd in the Australian National Championships road race.
