James has been cycling for over 5 years, coming into the sport after becoming bored with the routine of jogging for fitness. Residing in Sydney James is a metal roofer by trade. 2017 will be James second season as a Sports Director, having worked as soigneur with his club team, Sydney Uni Velo in 2015.
Elizabeth was previously a national level middle distance runner; medalling at both state and national levels. She transitioned into cycling whilst recovering from multiple surgeries due to foot injuries, and competed in her first NRS race in 2013.
Abby got her first bike 2 years ago to start competing in triathlons. Abby won her first ever race in the U/18-25 category in Newcastle, then moved to Sydney and started competing more seriously in the Kurnell summer sprint series. The Bike was definitely Abby's strongest leg and after a holiday to Europe to follow the Tour De France with her partner she was hooked on cycling.
Josephine has progressively moved from club level rider to NRS, the past two seasons racing for established teams Boss Racing and Sydney Uni Velo. She brings great enthusiasm and passion for cycling and development of race craft to the team. Josephine is a consistent rider finishing in the top half of NRS races irrespective of the course profile.
Ruby first started riding at the age of 12 on the velodrome after watching the track cycling events at the Athens Olympics. It looked like good fun so she thought she would give it a go. Quite quickly Ruby was surprisingly competitive and found she had potential. But for a few years it was all fun and games until Ruby started racing under 19 when she knew she wanted to take it seriously.
