Lydia Rippon

Lydia Rippon RoxsoltAttaquer

At the age of 12  Lydia was watching an elite woman's race in New Zealand (NZ criterium champs) It was fast and exciting and as the woman got on the podium Lydia imagined herself up there. Shortly after Lydia got a bike, won her first race and hasn't looked back.

Lydia loves the challenges that come with the sport because there is always huge rewards whether it be standing on the podium or simply just getting to the top of a 15km climb. With 2015 being hard year for Lydia with having a back injury and glandular fever she is looking forward to 2017 when she can get going again and race with Roxsolt. Lydia's goal is to get a couple of podiums at NRS races, particularly in the hilly tours.
